Mission Trip: Tia Juana pt. 1/5

(God is so good! My trip to Tia Juana was full of countless signs and wonders. People were saved, healed, and delivered. I even saw miracles on the streets. This was a life changing experience for me. I wrote a 16 page letter thanking all who supported me on my mission trip to Tia Juana, Mexico. I'll post the whole thing eventually, this is just the intro and the first day)

- Tim

"Hello everyone!

I just got back from my mission trip to Tia Juana, Mexico last Tuesday but have been a little under the weather. Please pray for me. The mission trip was a complete break-through for everyone I know of. I think nearly half of the 1st year students at my school went down to Tia Juana, approx 200 students. Other students went to more exotic locations like Israel and Japan for example. The Tecate, Mexico team had the most amazing testimony! As they hit the road a friend I hang out with weekly raised a baby from the dead! Isn't that amazing?! So the mother hit another car and the baby flew out the windshield, a 9 month old baby! My friend and the team in his car stopped at the accident site, half prayed for the mother and the other half boldly went to the dead baby, which had been dead 5 minutes or so. The mother or someone at the scene was a certified nurse so it was confirmed that the baby was in fact dead. So after a 3 minute prayer the baby begin to move! The baby is perfectly fine. I know that wasn't part of my trip but God is just so amazing that I had to share that. WOO HOO GOD!

- Hunger determines so much -
My trip was amazing! I really saw to a greater degree how our personal hunger determines how big God is in our lives. The people we ministered to didn't have the luxuries we take for granted but that only makes them that much more dependent on God. However that's not to say that God doesn't move in miraculous ways here in the good old US. The baby that was raised was actually from Redding, CA where my school is located. Stewarding that hunger is so important for us here in the US! But I feel that because we have so much more whatever we are good stewards of, we get even more.

- Logistics -
So we stayed in TJ for a whole week, the food was amazing. We had taco runs every night. Carne asada, Spanish for steak, tacos were only 1 USD and were way better than anything Taco Bell could ever hope to sell. Pork Tacos were 3 for a dollar. Mmm. I was pretty tired of tacos by the end of my trip though, heh. So we divided into location based teams each day. Each location based team consisted of a kids team, a worship team, and a pastor so 10-15 people in all. Among these teams was usually a person gifted in prophetic art. Which is basically someone who paints a picture for the church based on what God tells them to paint. It sounds weird but these paintings are really amazing! Some people will actually cry after viewing them and most all churches will agree that their painting speaks them. The cool thing about the pastors is that they usually delegated speaking and testimony giving to team members. I was graciously allowed to speak on something every night, whether it be testimonies or giving prophecies. Every night the location based teams would each go to a single church and perform a service, every night teams would get a new pastor as well.

I think the key to the Bethel model of ministry is we don't overwork ourselves into exhaustion. Everyday try to get a good night's rest, we worship daily before leaving for our ministry trips, we get drunk in God's joy and love, then we get drunk in more of God's presence as we ride over to the church we're assigned to minister to that night. By the time we get there we're all in great moods and are pumped for an amazing night. We ministered to one church a night, it was quality over quantity. Lets face it, putting on a service is hard work and when God shows up as he usually does, we end up staying at churches well over three hours, sometimes up to four hours. When I was younger and went to my old church, we would spend a week in Mexico and build a house for some poor family or a church for a poor church. It was exhausting! And people got cranky at each other by the end of the week. The pastor had to jump in and keep people from picking on each other. It was exhausting. Don't get me wrong, it's always wonderful to provide materially for God's people but it's also important to provide for them spiritually. At my old church, we might minister at a local church once during the whole trip. There were no miracles, no healings, just a nice quaint preaching and a building to leave behind. But with my school, God manifests his love in mind blowing ways. Houses can be bought and made but the presence of God is when heaven literally invades earth, when the atmosphere for transformation descends.

- Testimonies -
So many students have decided to return for a second year because of our mission trips, these trips were what we were trained for. Some of the students, like myself have been honing our gifts of healing and whatnot while we go shopping, while with friends, etc.. But it's automatic when you're on a trip like this, so many people needed healing, a word from God, so many people were desperate to feel God's presence in their lives. There were countless miracles, I could barely keep track of the ones by my own hands let alone the entire trip. There were healings, prophecy, and the tangible presence of God at every church our teams ministered to. Not one church rejected us despite our radical behavior and the physically tangible presence of God.

- 1st night of ministering -
I volunteer to teach Sunday school to 1st graders at school / church so I was naturally put on the kids team. My first night we went to a church I call the pink church. It was two buildings a kids building and a sanctuary. They were both roughly the size of 2 car garages. On a scale of poorness 1 being really poor and 10 being luxurious, this church was located in a neighborhood that was about a 3. There were patches of dirt here and there staring at us through the old rugs lain out sporadically in the children's room. The bathroom was a large port-a-potty. This was one of my favorite places to minister to though, it was all about the hunger of the people and how God showed up that mattered to me.

So we arrived 2 hrs early and met the pastor. Shortly after we did a little marketing. Our location based team of 10-15 people split up in half and we walked around the neighborhood with our interpreters and handed out flyers. Since I was on the children's team I was trained how to make balloon animals and as always, it attracted huge crowds of children. It was really fun to fight with balloon swords and chase the kids around. They really felt warmth and love from us. In actuality the kids did most of the marketing for us. They would swarm us begging for a balloon and would take a flyer back to their parents. After finishing we return to church and started making declarations over the service.

I declared the pastor would no longer need a cane, that signs and wonders would show up and that people would be touched! We all prayed with our hearts, making bold declarations that God would show up and that people would literally feel the presence of God in a tangible way! The entire church was in the main congregation during worship, kids and all. And it was amazing. Our teams learned to sing in Spanish and people were touched. My friend and I started dancing at the front of the building and got the kids to join in. It was exactly like a rock concert, people were actually having fun, in a church service! Fun during service?! Yes it trues many of us do have a lot of fun at church, haha. Many of the kids danced like King David did when the Ark of God was returned to the Israelites. After worship we divided up, kids and adults.

The kids service was amazing, I led one little girl to the Lord and I asked her if she wanted to feel the presence of God. She said yes and I prayed over her. She said she felt God hug her and I asked her to give me the same hug. This cute little 5 year old gave me the biggest, strongest hug she could muster! I wasn't sure of the validity of a five year old accepting God until she had this encounter with God. No one can take that experience away from her, not even all the theology in the could rob her of that encounter. Then we taught the kids very simply and shortly on healing, most were under ten. And all three of the kids with problems were healed miraculously on the spot! One kid had a headache, another had a cold, and the last had a stomach ache. I was very touched because little kids don't lie to make you feel good about yourself. Kids have such pure hearts. After the first healing, we had the kids praying over each other. It was so fruitful to watch.

The adult's service rocked too! The pastor has 25 years of constant pain in his back and legs from a car accident or something. I believe his back was fused or something and for sure one of his legs were shorter than the other by an inch. His wife had two broken ankles too. A number of other people had problems with their backs and stuff. Well the pastor and his wife were completely healed! Even the pastor's leg grew out. I remember seeing the pastor's cane on the wall as we left church. So many people were touched and were crying because they literally felt the presence of God, tangibly. I usually feel a slight buzzing feeling in my head, peace, and sometimes I even feel drunk as though I've drunk alcohol. Other times I'll cry or laugh because I am feeling God and his feelings at the moment."

A huge break-thru in miracles!

I haven't written on this thing lately because I've been so happily in love with God. But here's an email I sent to my friend in Taiwan. She's a youth pastor and is totally in love with God and I update her with all the crazy happenings of my school... Enjoy!

Hello Susan,

Benny Hinn is coming to Taipei Aug. 15th and 16th. I hope you can make it. Benny Hinn said to him [stated to the audience], Holy Spirit is more real than anything, the place he's in, the people around him, even the air he breathes. Amazing isn't it? I want to live like that too.

Oh yea I had a break through in praying for healing lately: deaf ear opened up in a store[walmart], miraculous healing on a popped ligament connecting the hand to the arm in a store, a miraculous healing of a fractured arm at church, and a gradual healing of a broken leg at a school library. These healings have been happening once a week! So for the last three weeks I have been seeing at least one big miracle when praying for people. Most of the miracles I've seen lately have been while going on treasure hunts, or outreach in the market place.

Then today it exploded! In my healing class someone had a leg shorter than the other and I saw it grow out in my hands! Then I prayed for a lady with carpel tunnel and she was healed on the spot! Then this is so amazing... a third year student had a foot smaller than the other. One was US shoe size 6 and the other 7. I joked with her asking if she wanted bigger feet or smaller feet. She wasn't sure so I asked her if she liked to go hiking, she said yes. I told her she should request bigger feet so she wouldn't fall off rocks, haha! Then I asked her if she wanted hairy feet, haha. She finally said she wanted both feet to be size 7 because all her shoes were size 7, HAHA. I thought women preferred smaller feet... this was getting so weird.

So I prayed with some students over her feet and after 10 - 15 minutes of prayer her foot started to hurt as it was being stretched. Then her big toe grew first, followed by the top of her foot. Later the entire foot grew out. She compared her feet in front of all of us and they were the same size! I looked at her feet as she put her sandals on and they filled out the sandals. Her feet really are the same size!

Well I have homework right now, blessings!

Gem stone testimonies

If you didn't see the Gem Stones from heaven then please watch it. The first 15 minutes is on the biblical authenticity of such a miracle and the last 15 minutes is an interview of a family that has been receiving gems.

Anyhow I know it's probably hard to believe, even I had a hard time believing it at first. So if you didn't know I'm going to Bethel's Supernatural School of Ministry. As the name suggests there's a lot of supernatural activity here. And now I present to you a list of gem stone testimonies from my school.

• Many recently young married couples at my school are finding diamonds in their homes! One young couple has found over 40 diamonds in their home! Incredible! This young couple has even had the diamonds examined at a local jeweler and get this, the jewels are completely flawless and do not have flakes of aluminum found in cubic zirconium. The jeweler even offered $10,000 on the spot for the 1 carrot princess cut diamond! So far the biggest diamond found at this couple’s house was a 2 carrot baguette cut or "rectangular cut."
• Two people I know personally have found gems as well. My Sunday School teacher partner and a man in my small group. Both of them were praying to God intensely just to get closer to Him, that’s the common trend I saw. They weren’t praying for gems or anything like that. Then when they got up they found gems. Isn't it crazy?!

More Gems in the future
My fellow Sunday School teacher had a dream before she found her six gems too! God told her gems would be very common at my school! YEA GOD!!!!! God said eventually they’d be so common that people would be requesting colors, hahaha! I can’t wait to find my gem, in fact I even have a big metal can by my bed with a sticky note: “God / Angels,
please put gems here, thx!”

There are a lot more gem stone testimonies at my school and church up here in Redding, CA but I only wanted to post testimonies on people I have relationships with.

Blessings!

Gem stone video

Gems from heaven!

The first 1/2 is a teaching on the authenticity and biblical approach to viewing such a miracle. The second 1/2 is an interview of a couple receiving gems and viewing of the gems themselves. An angel even drops one during the taping of the video! Enjoy!

Meericle Tyme!

I've been seeing a lot of miracles lately. One of my roommate's legs just grew out in front of my eyes, amazing! What else, oh headaches leaving, weird pains in people's bodies leaving. It's been a great week. I've been prophesying over a lot of people too, it's so awesome to give people encouraging words that stir their souls. Just recently friends in Taiwan have been requesting prophecies. Well I'll write up a proper entry later. I'm just so filled with joy at the moment that I wanted to let people know I'm still alive.
